Welcome to Built by Design, a series of videos created to teach FIRST students how to effectively use Autodesk Inventor. Created by FIRST students, this series is meant to help teams improve the efficiency, completion speed, and accuracy of their designs. This video demonstrates how to save time by leveraging downloadable content. Many of the parts that FIRST students use have already been modeled by someone else and can be found on the internet, so why re-model them yourself when you can just pull them off of websites and paste them into your robot assembly?
