ROBOSHOCK

The Oregon State University Robotics Club is hosting an event called Roboshock on Friday, May 28th from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Oregon State University, in Corvallis, Oregon. Roboshock will feature full-field competitions (with prizes!) of:

  • FIRST Robotics Competition
  • FIRST Tech Challenge
  • FIRST Lego League

Awards will be given for:

  • Robust Design
  • Imagery
  • Innovative Design
  • Best Autonomous Mode
  • Best Driving
  • Competition Winner and Finalist

We would love to have your team attend. Space is limited to 24 teams per FIRST competition, so please register early (registration closes May 17th). To register, visit our website: http://oregonstate.edu/groups/osurc/roboshock/.

UPDATED SCHEDULE:

  • 10:00 AM: Teams Arrive
  • 11:00 AM: Opening Ceremonies
  • 11:15 AM: Lunch (provided for all teams)
  • 12:00 PM: Tours of OSU and Robotics Club Projects
  • 1:30 PM: Seeding Matches Begin
  • 3:30 PM: Alliance Selection and Raffle Giveaways
  • 4:00 PM: Elimination Matches
  • 5:30 PM: Awards

Place: CH2M Hill Alumni Center, 725 SW 26th Street, Corvallis OR, 97331

Parking: Teams may park in the gravel lot on the east side of the Hilton Garden Inn (2500 SW Western Blvd) for free.



UPDATED INFORMATION:  There are NO registration fees for this event!

In addition to FIRST competitions, there will be demonstrations of OSU Robotics projects, raffles, tours of the OSU campus, and much more. Lunch will be provided. See the attached flyer for more information.
